Course Description:

Getting back to the basics is what billers need to do when trying to navigate the challenges of reimbursement. Even veteran billers can’t see the forest for the trees and miss the simple things which cost your company money. This seminar takes the time to step back, keep it simple and not muddy the waters to move your billing department to success.

This seminar offers a straight forward, hands on and fun approach to the steps of the billing process. The full process of revenue cycle management will be reviewed:  intake, ABNs, medical documentation, product specific coverage (respiratory, supply, MAE, and power mobility) criteria, denial/AR management, and audits. You’re never too old to learn new tricks or to remember the days when life was a bit simpler.

Each attendee that complies with the completion requirements (see below) will be awarded 0.7 CEUs.

Course Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the basics of intake and front end billing processes
