Program Description
This 2-day course will provide an overview of information related to topics that are covered on the RESNA ATP exam. The valuable and comprehensive information presented will reinforce your knowledge base and experience, fi ll in the “gaps” in less familiar areas of assistive technology (AT) and provide indications for further study. Successfully passing the ATP exam will allow you to be compliant with Medicare’s Quality Standards and with the requirements of the Power Mobility LCD.
The program provides 12 Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s) through IACET.
The course will cover the following:
- Anatomy, biomechanics and disability
- Service delivery
- Seating and wheeled mobility
- AAC, EADL/ECU and computer technologies
- AT for sensory impairments
- Funding and legislation
- Test-taking strategies
Please note: This course is a review of information and does not cover actual test questions from the RESNA exam.

Speaker Biography
During the last 24 years, Elizabeth Cole, MSPT, has been involved in many aspects of the provision of assistive technology, including clinical practice, sales, education and consulting. She has lectured extensively at conferences, trade shows and universities.
Elizabeth is published in industry journals and on the board of directors of RESNA, a member of the Clinician’s Task Force and supporter of NRRTS.
